It's still here

I've been getting a "lot" of questions from sad readers about why the poop suddenly quit happening. Rest assured, my friends, poop happens. it always happens, and soon, it will happen here again. It's just really hard to write my own little brand of nonsense when serious shiz is needing to be written about such topics as Mississippi River Geomorphology of the Quaternary, Nitrogen Eutrophication of the Lower Mississippi River, and Gulf of Mexico Hypoxia. Sadly, the witty half of my brain went on vacation for a bit to make room for the serious part (possibly part of someobe else's brain I think) to settle in for the academic year, but my silly friend will be back by May whether my other papers get written or not. So hold tight, and think warm, happy thoughts of the rapidly approaching return of the poop. See you soon.
